the folder name doesn't matter any more (it's automagically guessed), and increasing memory limit in php.ini won't help here;

can you take a look at the apache error log? I assume there is either some extension missing from your php setup, or you are using php4 and I've done something that broke it.

I've tried it on 2.2 (just newly installed on my local server) and it says:

---

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

---

I've tried both the rename folder to "inline_gallery" and the tweaking the php.ini thing, no luck.

*sigh*

I didn't get to test it with 2.2 yet, but in the good tradition of Wordpress development some breakage is to be expected; I guess I'll postpone some things I had planned for 0.3.9 and get this fixed for 2.2 in 0.3.8.

Hey, Pospiech (Matthias )

About broken link Options->Inline Gallery to

http://www.local-wordpress.de/wp-admin/inline_gallery/options.php

Manually edited it to point like that:
http://www.your-blog.whatever.wordpress/wp-content/plugins/inline-gallery/options.php

and it works.

I know this is clumsy method of getting things done; hope the developer will think of a way to fix it :)

based on what you just answered, I guess I am not seeing anything until I create thumbnails is that right? If so, this would explain for me why I don't see anything in manage galleries or on the page I created. Also, the slug should be the same name as the Page? or the same name as the gallery folder where the images are?

Do I need to create a page for each sub-folder?

if the text comes up for them, check if you have the thumbnails in the right place (the default template expects them to be in a subfolder of the gallery folder, called
thumbs
, and be named
thumb-imagename.ext
)
