For example you can add your authors to a Gallery2 group and give that group post access to a range of albums etc.. As Novasource mentioned below -- there are numerous problems. Namely the editor just didn't work correctly. In the end, I found it was more hassle than it was worth and went back to making links to images in my G2 library the old-fashioned way. To be perfectly fair, WP 2.1 had just been released and updated on my system. I don't know if the WPG2 folks had time to make any updates that this "new" version might have needed.
