I cannot successfully upload a sermon from the Mac. My sermon files (mp3s) are anywhere from 5MB to 10MB in size. When I press the upload button the browser will display the "uploaing" message for several minutes then the screen will refresh, but not upload. The files were not uploaded and the sermon does no show in the list.

I have tried from Mac OS on firefox and Safari. Works fine in Parallels\Windows XP with Internet Explorer

Thanks for that. I will try the update as soon as I get a chance. PHP errors are now enabled but I haven't had time to play yet!

Andy,

I have posted an update (ver. 0.8.1) which seems to solve some of the errors others have had with installation and what not. You might try it. Delete all old files (except for the upload folder and upload the new files. You may need to reactivate the plugin (deactivate and reactivate).

Another thing, is it possible to see whether or not you have php error messages enabled. It appears you are running to some php errors but they are not set to display which may be why you're seeing a blank screen. I would expect there to be an error message there...

There must be a problem with the installation somewhere along the line. I am looking into this now. This is odd because I had tested it several times myself successfully... I will post here when a bug fix is available.

That was meant to say exited my admin panel... I didn't excite it. I'm not sure how one would go about exciting an admin panel.

Thanks for the email Peter.

The problem I am having is this - I activate the plugin and firstly I get a blank screen - then if I refresh the page I get the plugin activated message. "All is ok" I think to myself! I go to the manage page and the SERMONS tab is there.

The upload new sermon part looks fine but just under there I can see the View/Edit/Delete Sermons area. Under that header I have the message:

---
WordPress database error: [Table 'stjb.wp_wpsermons' doesn't exist]
SELECT id,title, speaker, date, shown from wp_wpsermons ORDER BY date DESC
---

I carry on regardless and input all the information for the sermon and click the upload button and it says 'uploading - please wait' so I wait. After a while I see the WP Admin panel with the MANAGE tab selected and the SERMON tab selected under that but nothing else. Just a blank screen.

I waited for a bit to see if something changed. It didn't. So I excited my admin panel and went back into it. Under the SERMONS tab there is no new sermon uploaded. Just the original screen as described right at the beginning.

Did that make sense?! I hope so...

Thanks for any suggestions. I am using WP 2.1 and I am normally able to upload files up to 25mb. The file I am trying to upload was just 3mb.

Hope that's enough information. Sorry if it's just me being dense but any help will be appreciated!

A.
