Please note this plugin is not required for 2.6, A link is present to switch to the classic uploader, However, It will default to on for every load, Therefor, You may use this plugin to default to off.

WordPress 2.5 includes a new Flash based media uploader, Unfortunately for some however, It does not work as intended due to server configurations, or broken Flash on the users computer. This plugin disables the flash uploader and allows the normal uploader to work.

Please Note: I highly suggest attempting to seek help in order to fix any problems with the flash uploader in the support forums before resorting to this plugin if the uploader simply does not work. I personally use the Flash uploader, and find it does a good job.
