Memory Bump

If you are trying to update to WordPress 3.0 and you are frozen on "Downloading..." or seeing "Fatal error: Allowed memory size exhausted" errors, don

Download Version 0.1

If you experience this error, your site will still work, but you won't be running 3.0. Visit the plugin installer and look for 'Memory Bump' by the WordPress team, or download the plugin here and follow these steps:

  1. Upload memory-bump/memory-bump.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Go install WordPress 3.0!
