LinkWorth Plugin

LinkWorth can easily be integrated into your WordPress blog by following a few simple steps.

  1. Connect to your server via a file transfer method like FTP. This step is identical to that in which you uploaded WordPress to your server or hosting account. If this was done by someone other than you, you are best to consult with that individual and find out how to complete this step.
  2. Once you are connected to the server, upload the entire LinkWorth folder to wp-content/plugins/. These directories are located in the WordPress root (main) directory.
  3. Login into your WordPress administration panel.
  4. Click on the Plugins tab. If you uploaded the linkworth.php file in Step 2 into the correct location on your server, in the list of plugins you will see "LinkWorth". Click on the corresponding "Activate" link.

To install LinkWorth on a WPMU website:

  1. Once you are connected to the server, upload the contents of the LinkWorth folder to wp-content/mu-plugins/. You will upload the file LinkWorthWordPress.php and the folder lwincludes directly into the mu-plugins folder.
  2. The plugin will be automatically included by WordPress MU and you will not need to activate it.
  3. Input your main MU site's site id and site hash/ into the LinkWorth administration panel. All other sites submitted to Linkworth will have their ids and hashes updated automatically. All other controls on the page manage only the options for the main website.
