This plugin is very simple.

• Enter your client ID, subdomain, and password and this information will be stored by the plugin. The plugin will use these credentials to keep your custom link information up-to-date.
• Click a default page name (map search, basic search, etc.), save, and the plugin will add those pages to your navigation.
• Build a custom neighborhood or other link in IDX Broker. Open your plugin admin screen and all of your links will automatically appear. Check the neighborhood pages that you wish to add.
• Drag and drop various predefined Widgets into your sidebar. Or, copy javascript from IDX Broker into your built-in WordPress HTML/text Widget to customize your sidebar Widgets.

Websites that already have a lot of pages indexed under the www. subdomain should use search., listings., or some other subdomain keyword.

IDX Coverage

IDX Broker services over 400 MLS/IDX feeds. The majority of these feeds use RETS technology. This means that some feeds may provide Open House search, Foreclosure search, and more. IDX, Inc. is the largest IDX service provider in the United States. Our data team reviews discrepancies daily, and customer feedback often results in 24-48 turnaround for minor data issues (new fields added, street name directionals, etc). New boards may be added within 5-10 business days of the day that we receive IDX/MLS credentials from your Association.

Advanced Users & Designers

Live Integration:Synchronize your IDX pages with your WordPress theme, on every page load! This feature works with Genesis (AgentPress), Thesis, Atahualpa, and many other popular themes/frameworks. Please note that this feature may not be available for all themes or to all clients. Some web host providers prevent WordPress from being crawled by 3rd scripts or servers. This prevents our servers from being able to crawl the site on each page load. If this is the case, you may simply have us establish an IDX static wrapper. This may be preferable in some cases because the static wrapper may speed the load time of each IDX pages. Use static wrappers if you don't intend to change the navigation or sidebar functionality more than once every few months.

Advanced designers and WordPress users may experience similar results using the Custom Menu Tool in WordPress; simply add the links provided when your new IDX Broker account is activated. Advanced users may also use the WordPress HTML/Text Widget; simply copy and paste your custom Widget code from IDX Broker into the text Widget and drag the Widget to your sidebar.

General Terms of Use

This IDX plugin is supported by MLS/IDX feeds. This means that your MLS governs the IDX results and details page display and disclaimers. IDX, Inc. manages all the necessary MLS paperwork. IDX Broker will automatically display the correct MLS/IDX disclaimers to ensure compliance with the MLS(s) & Board(s) that provides you with your IDX feed.
