This plugin enables you to invite visitors to your WordPress blog or website to record comments, opinions, suggestions, language practice sessions, interviews, stories, poems, auditions, and any other voice or audio content using a computer mic. The visitors can include an email address and comments.
Users typically place (embed) a recorder in the sidebar of a blog or website. It does not require visitors to have an account to use the recorder. The plugin is available with any Evoca Express subscription, free trial or paid.
Plugin features:
- You can embed the recorder in multiple WordPress pages and sites.
- Initial recordings are saved to the user's Evoca account as private recordings.
- You can keep the recordings private or change them to auto-publish for streaming from your account, your website, or blog using Evoca-provided players.
- From your Evoca dashboard you can listen to, entitle, change security level, choose a standard Flash player to embed, email, post to Twitter, and more.
- It is also available from the user's Evoca main page: Embed your recorder > Browser Mic plugin > WordPress
More Evoca Express features:
- Plugins for other blog and website software types are also available when logged in to your Evoca account > Embed your recorder > Browser Mic plugin.
- Other Evoca recording creation methods are phone, Skype, in-browser recording from within the user's account, (Browser Mic) and uploads of MP3, WAV, and Apple formatted audio files.
- Users can post and share audio recordings online using Evoca-provided standard or user-customized Flash players using the auto-generated HTML copy/paste embed code.
- Evoca Express Local and Toll-free subscribers get dedicated, unique phone numbers assigned to their accounts for third parties to create recordings that are saved to their accounts, just like the WordPress recorder plugin. Users can customize their phone welcome greetings on a self-service basis.
