Edit Author Slug

Allows an admin (or capable user) to edit the author slug of a user, and change the author base.

Download Version 0.8.1

  1. Upload edit-author-slug folder to your WordPress plugins directory (typically 'wp-content/plugins')
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Go to Users > Your Profile, or Users > Authors & Users ("All Users" in 3.2+) > (username), and edit the author slug.
  4. Click "Update Profile" or "Update User"
  5. Go to Settings > Permalinks, and edit the Author Base
  6. Click "Save Changes"
