This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working

1. Download - Click the download button on the right side of the page and unzip the apture folder

2. Install

   • Upload apture.php to the WordPress plugin directory on your WordPress host/server (e.g., /wp-content/plugins/ )
   • You can use an FTP client to do this (make sure you change the Permissions on the file to allow public execution)

3. Activate

   • Go to the Administration Panels on your WordPress blog
   • Click the Plugins tab - usually on the left side
   • Scroll down through the list of Plugins to find the newly installed Apture Plugin (if not visible, check to see that you followed the instructions properly and uploaded the file correctly)
   • Click on the 'Activate' link on the far right side of the list to turn the Plugin on

4. Create

   • Go to your WordPress blog and create a new post
   • Click on the Apture Button to enrich your blog post with multimedia
   • Create an Apture account
   • Create your first multimedia links! Click the Apture Button to embed content directly into your post or select text and click the Apture Button to create an Apture link
