Admin Word Count Column

Creates a column in the admin's post manager, displaying the number of words in each post in the list.

This plugin adds a column to the post list to display each post's word count. Educators who grade assignments based on length may find this plugin particularly useful. Rules can be created for posts based on tags or categories that color the word count red or green depending on whether the number is above or below the target word count.
