I use the Akismet plugin, and while it stops thousands of spam comments every month, some still slip through.
After I manually mark these comments as spam, they STILL appear in my comment feed.
I asked on the Akismet.com site and got this reply from support+mark@akismet.com:
Unfortunately the comment feed cannot change how it currently works. I apologise for akismet not stopping them.
How come? Can it be fixed?

I support this. I use the rss widget to show comments from our forum.
A spammer followed the forum registration policy and then posted spam comments, which now show on my blog.
I removed the post from the forum (and the user), but the spam still displays on the blog rss widget.
I guess he still wins.

I can't reproduce this, spam comments don't show up in my feeds. Perhaps it got fixed.
