I've now had 2 clients delete users associated with content without realizing that they were deleting the content as well. At the very least the default radio button should be to associate the content with another user. But really, deleting the user with content should be red and blinking and "are you sure"?
I understand that this is a training issue as well, but it's just too easy for someone to delete right now. A re-designed interface could go a long way to avoiding this issue.

Deleting a user takes you to a new page.
I think you mean to say to make it harder to delete user's CONTENT, not to delete users.

Yes that's exactly what I mean. The fact that the user and his content are linked is not something that a standard client understands, so they think they're just getting rid of a user and don't understand the full consequences.
This is where flashing red and are you sure would help. Having a rollback for this would also be nice.

Flashing red is unlikely to happen ;) And a rollback is impossible given what goes into the delete.
But... A more descriptive alert seems sensible!

Well... OK :) Agreed; a more descriptive alert and changing the default to assigning the content to another user would go a long way to avoiding this issue.

Sending a confirmation mail to admin email will be more better in this case. Hope this will help.

I disagree. It is when relationships change and the client is trying to get rid of an old admin that this happens. I do agree that some sort of confirmation needs to be in place, but emailing to the admin you're trying to get rid of is not the way.

In very old versions of WordPress, there was nothing we can do if the admin clicked on delete but in newer versions, it is possible to build something that can create a backup of the posts and then perhaps create an option to recover those posts.
