Would love to see the core take on a class that allows for multi post thumbnails. This allows a theme or plugin to display additional metaboxes that perform the same function as the "Featured Image".
There is a dev who has build a handy class that would be an awesome addition! No admin, no BS, just strait code that does the job well :)
