Mediabase - Organisation - Folders

   Within the time, there could be 1000 of media files in the mediabase. For a better organisation of these, it would be nice, if the files could be filed in categories or (subsubsub ...)folders

   I'd like the option to be able to split these up according to the mime type.

   /video
   	/2010
   		/12
   		/11
   		/10
   /image
   	/2010
   		/12
   		/11
   		/10
   /text
   	/2010
   		/12
   		/11
   		/10

   I'm not sure if it's core material though. Maybe we should see a plugin implementation first to generate interest.

   A plugin first would be great, as there have been several suggestions for better ways to organize the media library, all of which sound decent.

   Well, I created a plugin, which replaces the Mediabase to mine. It isn't released yet, but you can see it here.

   you mean you will be able to upload files in media library, but in folders? :)

   I ve been trying for some time to find a solution to this!!

   If you went on with the project, could you please et us know when it is ready?
