Line break conversion...

   Sometimes I copy HTML directly into my articles for formatting purposes (I don't like to use rich editors - I prefer to keep control where possible). WordPress insists on always converting linebreaks to
   which is really frustrating - I just wish there was a tickbox to disable line break conversion...

   There are plugins that allow you control over post formatting, for example TextControl.
