As a matter of habit for myself, I am constantly pressing Ctrl +s to save any edits i make which duly pops up a window to save the entire page.
It would be great if the editor would save back to the server when these buttons are pressed rather than trying to save the entire page.
Salesforce has implemented something similar and, although only saving precious seconds, is very handy and feels a lot nicer.
