I'd like a plug in that allows me to add notes or tags to photos, like the mouseovers found on Facebook and Flickr.
I guess this can be done using image maps in the code, but a plug in would be a more elegant, user-friendly solution.
I'd be happy to help with testing/development if anyone wants to do this.

That kind of advanced functionality belongs in a plugin, with the basics to support it being included in core.
