			<description><![CDATA[<p>Yes but they'd still be on by default for each user that has the necessary capabilities. </p>
<p>Myself and another user have both written plugins that allow dashboard widget disabling, see the thread below.</p>

<p>Gave this 3 stars because i understand the issue, but whilst i understand the issue, i also see there are ways to get the functionality you want via plugins, so plugin terrority.
