Definitely yes!

Better also: leaving the category description as is (ie: used mainly as a Category Mouse-Hover popup/ALT Tag/Title) and that WordPress could implement the chance to define a Category Introduction that could be displayed before category pages.

Ie: and editable text like posts/pages that could be prefixed to the list of posts under a category.

I think this is quite a basic function and could be included into WP, with the chance of disabling it for those who don't need it.

The same could apply for post TAGs!

After all, both categories and tags are filters for articles that fall under that group. But visitors might not know the meaning of a category or tag, so each category/tag main page is a good chance for the blogger to define them as he/she intends them.

Especially true for tag, which are often just those single-worded misterious add-ons, often names of people, ecc., which one might also click to know more about them!

wordpress.com offers contact form option (Near media button) with customization. A similar feature inbuilt or even a plugin created byautomattic( like jetpack ), would make developers like us breath easy.

It would be good if we have a tinymce button for google map(v3) in our text editor, it would good if we explain a place with map. The existing plugins are either shortcode or gmap version 2( which is deprecated).

Well some here at tge office say we should be thankfull to have a description field.
On the other hand, we did need it... so we wrote a plugin for it.

This functionality does needs some tweaks because you can only add a TinyMCE to the edit detail page and not the overview page yet.

Why isn't the WYSIWYG included by default for the Biographical Info textarea? The entire user-edit page could use an update with more options and hooks.
